2. Overview
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, has no tracking pixels and asks for no account. The only personal data that reaches us is what you send us yourself, plus the technical data any web server necessarily receives in order to deliver a page.
3. Server log files
When you open a page, the hosting provider automatically records:
- the requested page and the time of the request
- the referring page, if any
- browser type and version, and operating system
- your IP address, shortened or stored briefly for security purposes
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the site — and is not merged with other data sources.
4. Fonts and images loaded from third parties
Google Fonts
The typeface used here (Courier Prime) is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to servers operated by Google Ireland Ltd. and transmits your IP address and user agent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If you would prefer no third-party connection at all, the font files can be self-hosted — see Google'sprivacy policy.
Unsplash
The placeholder photographs are delivered by Unsplash Inc. (images.unsplash.com). Loading them transmits your IP address and user agent to that service. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. See Unsplash'sprivacy policy.
5. Contact by email
If you write to us, your message and the address you sent it from are stored so that we can answer and, where a booking follows, handle it. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for enquiries leading to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.
6. Photographs of people
Where a portrait or reportage image shows an identifiable person, it is published only with that person's consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 22 KunstUrhG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future — a short email is enough and the image comes down.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- have it corrected or erased (Art. 16, 17 GDPR)
- have its processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR)
- receive it in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future
- complain to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
8. Hosting
The site is hosted by a service provider in the EU that processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
9. Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
